When you use Signal, we may process the resume text, job description, uploaded file name, match score results, generated resume or cover letter content, checkout session details, and support messages you send us.

We also collect basic technical and product analytics, such as page views, score completions, checkout starts, purchase fulfillment events, browser/device information, referrer and UTM source details, and approximate timestamps. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Signal.

We use your information to score your resume against a specific job description, generate the paid documents you request, restore recent paid downloads, prevent abuse, improve the product, measure marketing performance, and answer support or refund requests.

Signal is designed for honest optimization. We use the resume and job description you provide to rewrite and reframe real experience, not to invent jobs, skills, credentials, or outcomes.

To provide the service, we may send resume and job description content to AI providers used for scoring and document generation. Stripe processes checkout and payment records. We may use basic product analytics to understand site and funnel performance.

These providers process data under their own security and retention practices. We do not sell resume data or payment information.

Resume and job description content may be kept in your browser storage so the paid fulfillment page can complete after checkout. We may also keep a short-lived server-side checkout recovery copy for up to 48 hours so a paid order can still complete if browser storage is unavailable. Paid fulfillment records may be stored server-side for up to 30 days when a restore store is configured, so recent customers can recover downloads.

You can request deletion of support records or server-side fulfillment records through the contact form. We may keep limited records when required for fraud prevention, payment disputes, taxes, accounting, or legal obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, Stripe-hosted checkout, limited payment metadata, and scoped restore storage. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so avoid uploading information you are not comfortable processing through an online resume tool.
